Costs come out of our pockets, and people work on what they enjoy doing in their spare time. As pygame is a hobby project made by volunteers we don't have a big budget for things, and we don't do corporate sponsors. It's improving our English materials too! But the first language will be slower because of this, so we don't want to do too many at once. Already whilst going through the first tutorials we noticed gaps and problems with our existing materials. Tutorials, technical API documentation, and teaching materials will need to be translated. With the help of a professional qualified educator we have begun the process with Spanish. This is why we have started the process of converting pygame learning materials into another language. Learning with materials in a different human language is even harder. Learning a programming language can be hard.

QuadFactor for the Sonic Battle sprites: Ren Ramos for ripping the Sonic Advance 3 sprites: Kevin Huff for the Sonic Advance 1 sprites: ĭaniel Sidney for the Sonic Advance 2 sprites: HomingMissle333 for the Homing Attack reticle Rolling is parry cancelable, regardless if you’re in the air or not. Press Attack while rolling on the ground to instantly Dash Attack. Flick the control stick in the other direction while rolling to turn around and roll in the opposite direction. Using the move puts all your specials into cooldown, so be careful!Ĭharge up speed and roll through enemies with Sonic’s signature move! The longer you charge, the longer you'll roll. Can be a useful tool to extend that one combo that could kill off the top. Acts as a projectile and can damage opponents. Can act as a semi-useful recovery tool offstage. Useful as a combo tool and a way of dealing a surprise blow. Rise into the air and home into any nearby opponent. He has kinda stubby normals and lacks a true projectile. His combo game is a big strength, with tools like Homing Attack to aid in furthering his combo potential. His unmatched movement speed and quick specials allow him to easily traverse the battlefield in the blink of an eye and reach his opponent. Sonic is a very fast character who's gameplan revolves around constantly moving and dealing quick blows to his opponents. Sonic the Hedgehog joins the battle! With blinding speed on his side, he's a force to be reckoned with in the world of Aether! But, I'm not keen on spending another $30 for a companion software that only CSP needs nowadays. I tried Lazy Nezumi Pro with CSP and it helps a ton. Even Photoshop's is pretty good now, but Krita (free!) has the most robust settings. I'm not sure why or how it works, but it just doesn't do much to help in that situation. You don't want the line to be wiggly or shaky (tablets always introduce wiggle at slower speeds), but you also don't want to draw it too quickly because you'll sacrifice control (maybe your first line was in the right spot, but the parallel contour line will either converge or diverge if you go too quickly).ĬSP's stabilization is not good. An artist glove helps a little bit, but still: long, parallel lines that require fine control are one of the hardest things to draw.įor example, imagine you're drawing a thin snake: long, repeating curves, close together. I've been painting digitally and traditionally for many years and I've always used a "blind" tablet (Wacom Intuos, now). |
